My journey into art and woodworking began at a very young age. I was fortunate to have a very talented artist and teacher as a mother, who filled my childhood days with painting, drawing and crafting and I took to it immediately. I've been continuing with this passion well into my adulthood painting murals in my daughters' bedrooms and recreating scenes as their tastes changed. Growing up, I was also lucky enough to learn about construction and building as I watched my Dad build an addition onto our home. I was fascinated in building things and couldn't wait to learn how to use the many woodworking tools at my disposal. After my husband and I purchased our first home and my own toolbox expanded, this fuelled a deep-seated love for crafting beautiful and functional wood pieces that continue to decorate my home to this day.

 

In 2019, I took a leap of faith and began experimenting with epoxy resin. I dove right in to my very first project which was an L-shaped live-edge epoxy river countertop for an outdoor kitchen. This was definitely no small task and rather ambitious for a first project but after months of research and trial and error, this is now a piece that I am incredibly proud of.  This project not only gave me a valuable introduction to epoxy resin but ignited a fire and I found myself captivated by the endless possibilities that wood and resin could offer.

 

As I honed my skills, my love for woodworking and resin art only grew stronger. Each piece I create is a labor of love, reflecting my commitment to quality and craftsmanship. From intricate designs to striking color combinations, my goal is to create custom pieces that resonate the unique tastes and preferences of my clients.

In addition to crafting custom pieces, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with others. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their creativity, which is why I offer workshops where anyone can learn all about epoxy. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, my workshops provide a supportive environment that can unleash your creativity through artistic self expression and learn to create something truly special.
